casually glamorous, old movie star
cigarette in the corner of his mouth
a baritone that quivered when he spoke
not quite as delicate as the ashes
that covered his coat—chemical stardust!
the only gray you’ll ever carry, I said
indeed he would never wear it again
baby had that James Dean thing going on
